#Marvel NEWS! All-New, All-Different Marvel Comics Universe

If the recent "Secret Wars" crossover storyline was Marvel's very own attempt at a Crisis style epic event showing us the regular Marvel Universe colliding with the Ultimate Universe, what they just announced now is basically their Post-Crisis world that will spin out of the event.

After this summer event, over 40 books will be (re)launched! All-New series! All-Different directions for most of these characters! And it all sounds pretty crazy.. but also pretty interesting.

It really reminds me of the Post-Crisis early 90s DC Universe - in a good way.

A lot of characters from alternate realities (Ultimates, Old Man Logan, etc.) are being brought over. I gotta admit, it sounds pretty intriguing.

The whole thing will pick up about 8 months after Secret Wars. Fan favorites like Miles and "Spider-Gwen" will keep their series, albeit in the regular MU now. The Vision will get his very own first solo series. X-23 will be the All-New Wolverine. Some great new books like Ms. Marvel don't appear much affected. Kitty Pryde will be the new Star-Lord somehow (?!?). The Fantastic Four seem to be split up over several books to annoy 20th Century Fox no doubt.

That's... a lot. DC already had some trouble with 52 books. I would prefer less on-goings, and more limited series instead.

"Kamala's Avengers" - yeah, that's how I'll be calling them - sounds fun. The Young Avengers appear to be merged with the New Avengers, sure. I love how Jason Aaron turns everything metal, even Doc Strange! Scarlet Witch appears to have a new costume, and I don't know for you but I find it pretty ugly..? Peter Parker!Spidey's new costume looks.. weird? Also, I love the fact I'm gonna get more Miles, but why give a book to friggin' Carnage of all Spider-villains?? The pregnant Spider-Woman won't last long (I mean the pregnancy, not the book), but she really fight criminals like that? Miguel O'Hara's new Spidey costume looks awful, a far cry from his original classic iconic futuristic look. This has the potential to be extremely good.. or extremely bad.. Yikes. The totally 90s awesome Hulk better have a robot arm, or even a non-Hulk-ified regular arm. DD appears to be back to his Shadowland-self, I'm gonna miss Daredevil, Attorney at Law. X-Men joining Inhumans! I'm okay with X23 becoming Wolverine. Sounds like a natural progression from her various series these last few years, she's finally accepted what she is. And finally Deadpool is already back - yay! I didn't want to see him stay dead for too long, it never sticks with the Merc' with a Mouth. But only Duggan writing it? Aw, man.. Also, Deadpool on the Avengers - YES! Sign me in!!

I'm kinda sad to see Mark Waid's Daredevil end. And two Star-Lords, really? Why would Peter Quill keep his MCU look along Kitty Pride's use of his modern attire, why not allow him to go back to the original blue-suited Star-Lord costume then?

My only honest complaint with all this? Where's SQUIRREL GIRL!??? Did they cancel it already?! Wait? What!? How!!??!
